Return to the Origin Utah
Traditional Arhuaco Sentada Retreat
September 18 ~ 22, Centerville
What is a Sentada Retreat?
"Sentada" translates to "Sit", and refers to the practice of sitting meditation from the Colombian Arhuaco tradition of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This 5 day retreat is a journey of healing through active meditation, the sharing of ancestral wisdom, storytelling, words, chants and ancient practices that nourish and restore the spirit.
Together, we will explore how to purify, align and empower ourselves to reconnect with the Natural Order of Life, the Origin ~ within ourselves, our family tree and the land we live on.

Mamü Lorenzo Izquierdo Seuny
Wisdom Keeper of the Arhuaco People
The Sentada Retreat will be guided by one of the most respected spiritual leaders and wisdom keepers of the Arhuaco indigenous people of Colombia, Mamü (pronounced: "Mamo") Lorenzo Izquierdo Seuny.
Born in 1975 in U'müke, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Mamü Lorenzo began his spiritual training at 13 years old. Named "Summumpawium Bunkwaringek un Bunsi unch uwiun" his name translates to "Messenger of the Gods of Earth" and "The light that frees from darkness; he who listens to everyone in order to look at the origin of human beings to awaken the gift of each one." He has been entrusted with profound sacred responsibilities for the preservation and restoration of humanity's connection with the natural world.
Today, Mamü Lorenzo travels worldwide to share his wisdom as a guardian of sacred traditions, working for the unification of the peoples of the five races of humanity to help us remember the foundations and principles of creation and to restore and harmonize the original vibrations of Mother Earth (the "Natural Order.")

"It is time for Harmony, for the Light to be Anchored into our heart and thinking."
~ Mamü Lorenzo
