Sitting in Sentada is a process of purification and spiritual ordering. It is a unique opportunity to clarify the mind and reorganize personal and relational patterns through meditation, spiritual "payments" (offerings) and cleansing work with healing plants.

The focus of the 5 day fire ceremony is to clear and raise our vibration to connect with Mother Earth and learn the ancient meditation techniques from the Arhuaco people. The intention is to balance, restore and harmonize the original vibrations of Mother Earth and ancient memories of Light that each of us carry inside. The teachings guide us through a process through which we remember how to think, feel and speak words that purify, heal, and nourish our spirits and of those around us. 

 

The sequence of practices is designed to prepare the body and spirit to purify ourselves personally, our partnerships, and our ancestral (family) tree.  Following the initial days of cleansing, we proceed with making payments and offerings that harmonize and nourish the Spirits of the Natural Order of life and the Guardians of the territory on which we live.

The practices aim to open a Path of Light that we can walk in our daily lives as instruments in service to Mother Earth and Father Sun. As the Mamüs and Sagas see it, this is essential work in these times of great change.
