What to Bring

Please bring the items listed below for your comfort during the Sentada. Food and medicinal plants for ceremonies and cleansing baths will be provided. 

If you select to camp during the retreat, please bring your own camping gear. For more information about the accommodations, take a look at the various options that are available.

Items to Bring

General items to bring 

  • Camp chair comfortable for the sit and/or cushion

  • Headlamp 

  • Water bottle 

  • NEW plate, cup & utensils (cannot have been in contact with salt) 

  • Notebook & pen

  • Instruments (if you wish to share music during the evening ceremonies)

  • Personal care items & hygiene products (no strong scents or perfumes)

  • Personal medications (please list on registration form)

  • Towel 

  • Comfortable lightweight clothing with a warmer layer for the evenings

    • For women: ​

      • Because of the ceremonial nature of the Sentada, we ask women to dress in skirts or dresses​

      • Please bring a womb belt or ceremonial belt (chumbe) if you will be on your moon time during the Sentada 

  • If camping: 

    • Tent, bedding, air mattress, pillow ​

  • If not camping: 

    • Bedding (blanket) and pillow ​

Weather

Weather in September in Centerville, Utah is generally pleasant with temperature highs in the 80's and lows in the 50's or 60's with low chances of rain. 

Please check the weather closer to the event and pack accordingly.
