His Spiritual Path & Mission 

When he turned 13 years old, he began his spiritual training, which initially lasted 7 years, under the guidance of fourteen wise men from the Arhuaco Indigenous People.

Subsequently, for 8 years he received the teachings of Mamü Senurukun, known as Mamü Sello, who helped him remember how to perform spiritual work for Mother Nature and the visible and invisible universe.

​

Upon completing this process with Mamü Sello, at the age of 28, Mamü Lorenzo experienced a 90-day trance that helped him access the inner knowledge of his being and of nature, an experience that solidified his previous years of training. Recognition of his learning came with the receipt of his first Tutusoma, "the headdress," bearing the symbol of the five races, reaffirming his path and mission: to travel the world to unify peoples and help them remember the foundations and principles of creation—words, songs, thoughts, dances, and daily tasks—that heal, cleanse, purify, and nourish Mother Earth.

In 1992, he began guiding Colombia's Indigenous nations back to their ancestral medicine paths (eysa'riunhawi). In 2008 he was charged with safeguarding the "navel of the earth's matrix" in Bacata (Bogota), where he began building the Great Kunkurwa (Temple) - a place of unity for all peoples, beyond race or colour.

A former coordinator of the Elder Mamüs and President of the Confederation of Ancestral Spiritual Authorities of the Indigenous Nations of Colombia, Mamü Lorenzo is a pillar of the Kiva Earth Roots gathering, connecting original peoples across continents.

Today, he travels the world as a guardian of sacred traditions, working for the unification of the peoples of the 5 races of humanity.
